Midway to victory
The Battle of Midway in June of 1942 marked a revolutionary turning point in World War II by immediately shifting naval dominance in the Pacific from Japan to the United States. The American triumph paved the way for an allied victory in World War II and established the foundation for United States naval supremacy to this day.
